COVID-19 in Eastern Mediterranean Region Countries

Background: COVID-19, as an emerging disease, is characterized by acute respiratory syndrome and caused a coronavirus. The disease was first seen in China gradually spread across other parts of the world. Objectives: This study aimed to investigate COVID-19 characteristics Eastern Mediterranean Region. Methods: data confirmed cases related deaths different countries were extracted from reports World Health Organization transferred SPSS software, where final calculations performed, fatality rates obtained. Results: highest rate observed Iran, with 975951 cases. death also 48628 deaths, Yemen 29.12%.
